Fried Plantains

The best The Island has to offer fried in coconut oil.

Ingredients
2 ripe Plantains
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
Sea Salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. Peel Plantains cut into 1/4” rounds
  2. Heat coconut oil in a skillet on medium-high
  3. Fry the plantains until golden brown, 2-3 minutes each side
  4. Be careful because they’ll burn easily
  5. Remove Plantains from pan and sprinkle with salt
