3 large Sweet Onions
2 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- Chop Onions into thin slices
- Melt Butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- When butter begins to foam stir in Onions until evenly coated by butter
- Cook for about 30 – 45 minutes or longer, stirring every 5 minutes, until onions are deep golden brown (onions will shrink during cooking) Makes about 1 cup
If the onions stick to the bottom of the pan, add 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.
